Getting started
- Click the JoboCop icon in the toolbar. The side panel opens and a short tour shows you around.
- Open Profiles and fill in your details once. Upload your resume so it's attached for you.
- Open a job application form, then click Fill this page in the side panel, the Autofill button in the corner of the page, or press
Alt+Shift+F. - Check the outlined fields, answer the ones in red, and submit the form yourself. JoboCop never submits for you.
A form doesn't fill right
Open the side panel on that page and click Copy page report. It copies the list of fields JoboCop found, with their labels and what it matched, but not your answers. Paste it into an email to [email protected] with the page address.
Using Claude Code for drafts
Claude Code must be installed and signed in, and you need Node.js. In JoboCop, open Settings > AI answers, pick Claude Code on this computer and run the command shown there. It installs a small bridge in your user folder that lets the extension talk to Claude Code.
macOS or Linux
curl -fsSL https://jobocop.app/bridge/install.sh | bash
Windows (PowerShell)
irm https://jobocop.app/bridge/install.ps1 | iex
You can read the bridge files before running them. To remove the bridge, run uninstall.sh or uninstall.ps1 from the same place.
Your data
- Everything is stored in your browser. Settings > Your data exports a copy you can import on another computer. API keys are left out.
- To stop job site sharing, turn off Settings > Job sites.
- Removing the extension deletes its data from your browser.
See the privacy policy for what is sent and where.
